ANTHROPOCENE: A COLLABORATIVE INSTALLATION ON CLIMATE CHANGE

In June of 2017, Susan Hoffman Fishman and Elena Kalman developed a large-scale installation on climate change in a black-box space in Bridgeport, CT. Comprised of red, orange, and blue polycarbonate film, plastic, acrylic, parachute cord, fabric and live plant material, Anthropocene imagines a life on Earth in which raging fires from a heated planet are the norm and plastic has overtaken the environment. The installation measures 17' high x 20 feet wide x 20' long.
